Dilbar – Advanced Beginner Class – Tuesdays 7pm

Dilbar, dilbar!

Yes, we are bringing back Dilbar, and presenting it for an entire course for stage! This choreography was taught in a one-off beginner workshop in 2019 and Drea has been working on making it a longer and more sizzling routine.

This is an advanced beginner course, so please be prepared for steps that are more challenging and specific than the beginner class. This class is held in Fortitude Valley & streamed online from the studio. This choreography is beginner accessible, meaning it has slower and more repetitive parts of the choreography as well as parts which will be a challenge and will require practice.

This class includes a package of tutorials so you can strengthen your learning and you never have to worry about catching up or keeping up, if you learn a little slower! Learn more about the tutorials here!

Course Details:

• 8 weeks: Tuesday 2nd of May – 21st of June 2023
• Time: Tuesday 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm (60-minute class) AEST
• Teacher: Drea
• Price:  $170 (early bird is $150 – book and pay before April 15th)
• Filming: Filming is something that may be offered for this course, it will require a minimum of 8 participants and cost an additional $55.00 to participate in a professional shoot.
• Tutorials: Access to this class includes tutorials provided via an exclusive locked page of our website. Package tutorials are provided for you to supplement your learning and become a stronger dance at home. Learn more about our tutorials here.
• Level: Advanced Beginner choreography – some experience is recommended
• Venue: ADC Studio, Fortitude Valley; and online
• Studio Location: Level 4, 420 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley (entry via Berwick St, doors are next to the Institute of Modern Art, buzz us at ‘ADC studio’ for entry)
• Parking: Street parking is free after 7 pm. Some free parking is available at 421 Brunswick St (entry via Ivory St), check the signs.
• Perform! Dancers who learn ‘Dilbar’ are encouraged to join us for performance opportunities in 2023! The final routine will be filmed in the final class! Come have fun!
• Capacity: Minimum numbers are 7 for the class, maximum of 35
