Kathak Class – Monday 6:30pm

Master the foundations of the Kathak. This beautiful classical Indian dance style will be taught by Parvyn, a brilliant singer, songwriter, dancer, and Kathak teacher. This class gives you a foundation of techniques including tatkaar (footwork), hastaks (hand movements), chakkars (spins) and foundational compositions. Parvyn is a wonderful and kind teacher, we are blessed to have her joining us to teach Kathak Technique from Adelaide!

Never done Kathak before or want to refresh your foundations before joining the class? Receive our 2-hour foundational Technical Workshop to introduce you to the key techniques! A great way to begin this course. We will go through the foundational techniques of Kathak so that you can seamlessly join the class in what is regularly drilled in each class.
