Manwa Laage – Level 2 Course, Tue 6:30pm, Feb 4 – Mar 25

Manwa laage, laage re sanware; Le tera hua jiya ka, jiya ka, jiya ka ye gaanv re // My heart is interested, interested (in you), O beloved; See, this village of the heart is yours now.

After many requests from beginner levels, we are doing semiclassical in both beginner and advanced beginner this term. This gorgeous choreography includes advanced beginner semiclassical footworks, floorwork, hastaks (hand movements), formations, advanced beginner musicailty, and hip movements.

This lovely class is suitable for those who have spent a good amount of time building a foundation in our beginner courses (we recommend at least 1 year). This course is offered in-person in Fortitude Valley & streamed online from the studio. This class includes a package of recorded classes and a supplement with a summary of new steps offered post-class, so you can strengthen your learning and you never have to worry about catching up or keeping up, if you learn a little slower! • 8 weeks: Tuesdays 4th of February – 25th of March 2025
• Time: Tuesdays 6.30 – 7.30 pm (60-minute class) AEST

• Price: $190 (early bird is $170 – book and pay before 27th January)
• Class Replays: Access to this block/course includes class replays, provided via an exclusive private links. Tutorials post class may also be provided, if required, with a brief summary of the new steps. Replays and tutorials are not provided for drop-in class members. • Level: Level 2 – Advanced Beginner Bollywood – experience is necessary, assessment is recommended before booking.
• Venue: ADC Studio, Fortitude Valley; and online
• Studio Location: Level 4, 420 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley (entry via Berwick St, doors are next to the Institute of Modern Art, buzz us at ‘ADC studio’ for entry)
• Parking: Street parking is free after 6 pm on side streets. Some free parking is available at 421 Brunswick St (entry via Ivory St). Check the signs. Paid parking available at Secure on Berwick St, directly opposite the entrance to the studio. We recommend parking here for your first class to find it easily on time. 
• Capacity: Minimum numbers are 7 for the class, maximum of 40.
• Perform! Dancers can join 2025 performance opportunities and each final choreographies will be filmed! An extra fee may be required for professional videography.

• T&Cs: Student will receive all recordings and tutorials throughout the course, there are no refunds, credits or make-up classes if a student misses the class, if Dance Masala has to cancel a class, a makeup class will be offered, or alternate instructor will be used. You cannot transfer this class to another person. Purchases without pre-approval can be transferred and cannot be refunded.
